My cat has a thyroid problem so she gets pills 2 times a day, every day. We use a syringe with water in it to ensure the pills go down.

Process is
force mouth open
pop pills way back into her mouth
put in some water with syringe to force her to swallow
then lots of love and lots of brushing... she knows she get's brushed after the pills so I think she's a bit happier to let me complete the process so she can enjoy the brushing.Melissa Rhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01506768105367855476noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4111228953718918006.post-46729273491018392422011-05-19T00:26:31.941-04:002011-05-19T00:26:31.941-04:00Julie: Thank you. Hope the medicine and drops take care of the infection.~*~The Family~*~https://www.blogger.com/profile/10318808045089371749noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4111228953718918006.post-89210628312026215412011-05-18T20:05:36.778-04:002011-05-18T20:05:36.778-04:00Aw, poor kitty! I had a kitty long ago that was a typical aloof cat until she broke her leg and had to have a lot of care. I guess all the attention helped mellow her out because she became much more affectionate, too. Btw, that is a beautiful pic of your daughter and the kitty. Hope recovery is quick!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04884830455002088017noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4111228953718918006.post-73302171904682382952011-05-18T19:11:34.271-04:002011-05-18T19:11:34.271-04:00Awww, that's so sad.
