Here! Hear! Marina! I think our families must be living in parallel dimensions. This comment has come up more than once. So much so that when the kids and I were planning our school year, I planned accornding to their request - they want the same days off as their schooled friends get.
Hey Marina! That's exactly how I feel about my part time retirement job that pays by the hour, no holiday pay or vacation pay. I always feel cheated out of the holidays that I looked forward to when I worked for Catholic Charities.
