Today is September 11th. My sister's birthday.
I wrote about my memories of this day last year.
My mother also wrote her memories on her blog.
I will always be thankful that I chose to homeschool and had my children at my side that day.
To all of those who were directly affected by events on that day, my thoughts and prayers are with you today.

Wow. With everything going on, I'd actually forgotten -- briefly -- that it's 9/11. It is a particularly emotional anniversary for me, as my mom died on 9/11/03. Five years. It still feels like it happened last week.
