HAHA!!! As much as Emily loves reading and stories, I have been trying to read Half Magic to her too recently. She doesn't seem to pay any attention. When I ask her parts of the story she says she doesn't remember what happened at all. Maybe when she is older. I love those books.

Right now, we're finishing up a kid-version of The Three Muskateers. Oy! So many characters, doing so many naughty things, and multiple murders. What's more, I don't think Espen can really keep track of all the names -- so maybe he won't remember! I, on the other hand, find it all pretty fascinating, so maybe we'll study the 'real' version in a few years....

Yes, I agree with you and the other ladies who've left comments. Blake is just like that. Logan used to be the opposite and comment on stories all the time so it took me awhile to work out that this is just Blake's character.
Blessings,
Paula

I haven't read a book to my kids in so long!! This comic does remind me of when Eragon first came out and how I was so happy George had fallen asleep before we got to one particular section.

Love this strip. It is so funny and so true to life. I think they do hear the story (by osmosis?) but hate to answer questions.

Love, Mom
