Oh, waaaaay too familiar! Thanks for the much needed laugh! I have become completely neurotic about library books going back into the library bag(s) after the huge hit I took in fines last month!
You should see me the day before library materials are due back (or more often than I care to admit, the morning of). I have a designated box all items belonging to the library are supposed to go in, but rarely do they actually make it back to the box after use. I run around like a crazy woman looking on tables, the hearth, under beds, under the sofa and loveseat, etc.
