Ever try testing for acids and bases? Doing this experiment once was enough for me. Boiling red cabbage leaves is not an activity for those of us with a sensitive sense of smell. Pregnancy only makes things worse. I wish we had seen this episode of Zoom, which only required setting chopped red cabbage in cold water!
