Time to study languages!
Babies can be a distraction when trying to homeschool, but there is something very cozy about watching your oldest child practice their declensions with a wiggly little person beside them. The hair pulling just adds that special
je ne sais quois.

LOL
My brother watched Miss Language once when she was a few weeks old and we came home to him reading to her from The Calculus in a sing-song voice. Unfortunately that early experience did not help her much last year when it was time to study The Calculus.
Our Mr Music loved Latin vocab as a toddler. I remember him getting out of the car one day and announcing it was caldo. And my children have a favorite first Latin phrase: Semper ubi sub ubi.
I loved that tiny baby stage, where you can park them somewhere on a quilt and know just where they'll be. It really only lasts for about 7 months tops, before they're off finding their independence.
BTW that groundhog photo looks so cuddly and cute. We don't have any, of course. Industrious fellows, by the sound of it.
Blessings,
Paula
That is too funny.
Thanks for the encouragement on my blog.
I am worried however about my daughters reading. She has a sensory disorder and her short term memory is very very low. If you are interested at all in more of her story you can find it under the search label Tink on my sidebar. Its been a long and arduous journey to even get her this far. She cannot process information like other children so therefore academics are a continual struggle.
Blessings on you and yours.
