Home Spun comic strip #171

Home Spun comic strip #171

I just want to make it clear that my children aren't perfect. They do get on each others' nerves. But I have noticed that even though they have their differences, they look out for each other and have a much stronger bond than I had with my brother and sister at that age. I know there are siblings who go to school and get along. But without the age divisions set up by schools, I have observed that homeschooled children tend to be better at including and playing with children of all ages.
I must admit that the year this happened, I was disappointed she wouldn't be playing Mary, the Mother of God. Sierra was a baby, so I could have had her play the infant Jesus. But Marina had her priorities straight. She was there for her little brother. I was very proud of her.

You have wonderful children! As for 'old designs', lol silly, it would be new to me! Thanks for even thinking of me. I'm really trying to apply the peace and laughter but the black widows keep climbing out of the boxes...

You've done a great job raising Marina! She's the big sister I would have loved to have had. :-)

Yes, that was one of the many occasions that I have been proud of Marina. You both did a good job raising her. And even better, there's lot more to come!
