Based on that library list, I was going to recommend the series Percy Jackson and the Olympians, but I think you guys have already discovered it. How about the Attolia series by Megan Whalen Turner, though? First book is The Thief. (Librarian = can't stop myself from making recommendations!) And, if our similarities of taste hold true, you'll love Gen! ;-) ~fd
