Challenge #2 - The lamp was not something I wanted to do, but I forced myself. Something about drawing a lamp didn't appeal to me.
Challenge #3-4 - I didn't think about how many folds were in my bag until I started sketching it. The mug was drawn from an odd angle and the mug itself is odd, with reliefs popping out here and there. In hindsight, I should have taken it with me when I taught bas reliefs.
The two sculptures below were done by Marina and Sierra, respectively. They were given to me for Christmas. They used a special Sculpey Ultralight clay.
Marina's shows my three children reading on the couch. Sierra's is her and Marina on the couch, reading and eating blueberries with the TV in front of them. Not bad for a five year old. Marina only helped her with the hair and with sticking some pieces together. And keeping her fiery tempered little sis from mushing the clay into a ball when she got frustrated!

It looks like you all are having lots of fun! Great drawings and really cool sculptures! Thanks for sharing them.
How proud I am of my granddaughter sculptors. Why not let Sierra express her frustrations in clay? That should be scary!
Love, Grandma
