The Pirouette Parthenon

This latest edible model is brought to you by graham crackers and Pepperidge Farm pirouette cookies. I used (shudder) store bought frosting. Can you tell the year is winding down into birthday month?

They had to make some sacrifices in creating this model. There are only 6 cookie columns across instead of the Parthenon's 8. Sierra would have had fit if there were no cookies left.

Notice the slanted columns? The kids learned that you need a good hard mortar holding up your columns before you set a heavy roof on them. Ancient history: check. Physics: check. Architecture: check.

AWESOME!!!!

What a fantastic Parthenon. Your kids should be rightfully proud of their achievement. =)
