No Electioneering Beyond This Point

Admit it. You are all getting sick and tired of politics, politics, politics. You are getting bombarded with news, polls, commercials, junk mail and promises. So I'm declaring my blog a Campaign-Free zone. If you don't know who you are voting for a week before the elections, I can't help you. I can provide a bit of humor, some words of wisdom, and maybe a puzzle or two.

Consider it my little brain spa. Grab a towel, your favorite hot drink, sit back, and put your feet up. But don't block the screen.

For starters, how about a picture? Dusty posed for this one. I'm not sure if she realized that the "Think less. Play more." sticker was behind her, but she kept laying under it:

Speaking of poses, Take a look at these handsome faces. My father and uncle posed for Sierra recently:

Tio Sami and Buelo

"A woman put on a heavy coat and left home for the rest of the day. It was neither raining nor cold outside. Why would she do this?" (Leave your questions in the comments. I'll answer Yes or No.)

I hope you've enjoyed my mini-mind-spa. May you leave this blog refreshed and ready to greet the day!

Ah, yes I need a non political board to come too. I put enough of that political garbage on my own blog. I do feel it is important, but sometimes I just want it all to go away! I have researched till my face has turned blue, so I feel good about it.

Funny, this morning I was thinking how excited I was for the election! Usually I'm just excited for the election because the commercials will stop, this time I just can't wait to vote and watch the whole thing unfold. But then, you also know that I'm not a big fan of the media saturation either, so this is great!

Question: Is the woman staying in town?

Thanks, Lady! You're my new homepage! I used to think it was b/c I'm so close to the border that all the electoral stuff just filtered across...but now I know that's not it.

Hope all is well. Are you guys in for the storm that's brewing here I wonder?? 15cms of snow expected, high winds and lotsa rain. Oh Joy.

bib- Yes.

bonni- We are getting a lovely storm. The kind with high winds that makes me think of microbursts and tornadoes and split trees. Thankfully, we are too south for snow. ;o)

Hmmm ... is she using paint?

Thanks for the politics-free post. *LOL* You are so right. If someone is undecided 7 days before the election, well, what are you gonna do?

Mama Monkey- Yes! She is using paint!

Oh my goodness, I had no idea what the answer to the puzzle was until mama monkey commented. OH! The lady was painting! It was a heavy coat of paint! Doh! =D

Thank you for creating a politics free zone. =)
