Home Spun comic strip #295

Home Spun comic strip #295

I hope everyone had an excellent Thanksgiving! Remember, I will be working on some Christmas projects next week, so I probably won't have any new comics until a little closer to Christmas. I'll post some reprints and keep you updated when I can!

LOL! This reminded me of when we listened to Hoot on cd in the car one time. Hubby was far more interested in it than I realized.

Haha! =D Did your poor husband get to listen to the book? =)

Thank you for your comment on my blog. I'm really interested to know why you don't like walmart. My daughter hates walmart too after watching a programme on it in her economics class. We have to turn the Walmart ad on everytime it appears on the telly because she dislikes it so much. I guess I should probably check out that programme myself, huh? =)

I'm so sorry you don't feel like you can give homemade gifts to your family. I admit to being in the same boat!

I sometimes feel our children get too much at Christmas also. I try to keep it as simple as possible, but it always ends up way too gimmie-ish. *sigh*

Makes me worry, actually, when I'm a Grandma. Will my grandchildren think I'm a cheapskate if I want to take them to the park and/or make stuff together with them rather than handing over $50? I can't believe I'm worrying about something that may never happen. =D =D Thus is my personality. =D

Food gifts are a wonderful - and yummy - substitute. The other great thing about them is they are clutter-free. Except on the thighs. =D =D =D But that kind of clutter is el yummo. =D
