My Big Day

There was a parade set up by Sierra. Dinosaurs marched across the living room.

My Fortieth the Mom Parade

For some odd reason we were completely out of candles. All we had were some number candles, so I managed to only reach the age of four.

My Fortieth Cake

I want to publicly thank my sister in law, Linda for the flowers in front. Hubby was a little put out because he thought they made his bouquet look scraggly. I think both bouquets look lovely. Marina baked a chocolate buttermilk cake with cream cheese frosting. It was delicious! Everyone was very generous. My parents chipped in for the parts and my husband built a computer for me. I'm a very lucky to have such a wonderful family!

Looks like you had a wonderful day - dinosaur parade, flowers, delicious home made cake, and a new computer so you can work on your blogs! I'm happy that you like the flowers. I ordered them on line and was not 100% sure if they would be delivered and what they would look like. This summer you can re-use the basket for arrangements made from the flowers in your garden.
Love, Linda
