I have learned so much since I started teaching my children. I don't mean the trivial things either, although it is fun to know why the Mongols wore sashes and how to make butter. What I've learned is that I love learning and that I don't need to seek a degree as an excuse to learn new things. Teaching my kids has been the best educational experience I've ever had!

Amen! So much more learning has taken place for me since home schooling than when I got my BA from college. And when the kiddos aren't careful, they even enjoy it!! :)
Homeschooling has opened my eyes to so many things and brought so much more "knowledge" to me than my public school or college experiences ever did! I like that you said you've learned you love learning - I never enjoyed "school", although I earned very good grades. Homeschooling has definitely afforded me the opportunity to realize that learning is fun and a really awesome experience. :o)
It's been so much fun discovering new worlds with my son this year. There is so much I either don't remember, or didn't learn in the first place, when I was young. We are so lucky to be able to learn like children again while we teach (or are taught) by our kids!
