Boy, do I know what Jessie is going through! But I think Allen has a good point. It's great when they're actually having fun, not realising that they're doing something educational. I like your last post. Reminded me of when my Dad stepped on a slug in his bed socks one winter night. I kid you not, his sock was soaked through with squashed slug - yuck!! We've been having quite a bit of rain too, but it's our first decent wet winter for a long time and we're quite enjoying it. Blessings, Paula
We're struggling with this exact issue at the moment. Your comics frequently parallel our issues. That must be the mark of a talented craftswoman! I enrolled our sons in a state charter school (Idaho IDEA) that still allows us to choose our own curriculum. We have portfolio meetings twice a year and they want to test the boys before the school year begins so that they can "help" me tailor their curriculum to their needs. The closer we get to the start of the school year the more I think I'm doing the wrong thing. Are we ever confident of our choices about educating our children?
