I read your other post about your melt-down day. How ironic! Today was mine. We found out that my daughter's scholarships and fed. aid will be a couple thousand less than we expected, and my son didn't get enough scholarships to carry on in school or a job that he applied for that'd bridge the gap. We'll have to "figure out" a way for Kate, and it looks like my son with a 3.71 GPA in college will stop school and enlist in the Marines this summer. Busy has overwhelmed me this week, and occasionally today I am in tears with that dismal drowning feeling. And perimenopausal hormones do NOT help me, either!
But God remains in control. Today was a good time to reflect and readjust my perspective. "Great is Thy faithfulness, Oh God, my Father...all I have needed Thy hand has provided. Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me." *Whew!*
One of my "cuter" memories of Sierra. I especially liked her word for computer - puker. It certainly sums up how I feel sometimes when this technology gets the better of me. Love, Mom
