I guess your kids aren't young enough for this problem, but I was just trying to make an appointment for one of them, when the youngest child's soft boiled egg fell on the floor, and the middle child tried to comfort her, but they were so loud, I couldn't hear the phone. As I was trying to sort out their situation, the automatic operator kicked in, and my replies to the children got me all mixed up on the automatic phone menu.

It would be funnier in a cartoon.

I think it reads funny too. :o)
My kids still come from the far corners of the house and yard if I open a book or pick up the phone. This is why I don't read as much or talk on the phone as much as I would like. :o)

This strip reminds me of my recent visit with your sister in California. Jackson loves bugs and collects them and looks them up in his books. But sometimes they escape on Mommy's tomato plants. Good bye tomatoes! Love, Mom

Oh my I found your blog from through another blog High on Homeschool, your comics are to funny. I can see our world in them. Thank you so much for the laugh. I so needed it today, with 3 kids going in different directions this was a nice pick me up. Off to read some older post. Thanks again.

Bugs in the garden are worse, because it is them or our food. My daughter not only wants to identify them, but wants them to be trannsported somewhere where they can continue to live. She changed her mind about the yellowjackets though, when she saw a kitten attacked by one...thankfully it was only one.
