Home Spun comic strip #661
Whether it's a headache, illness, or general fatigue, we have all had days when it is hard to get up. Days when you would really like a quiet house or, at the very least, less screaming. Children never seem to learn quietly. These are the days when you hope you've instilled enough self-reliance in your children that they will let you rest. Maybe even make you a cup of tea and bring a cool rag for your head. That's what's nice about teaching your own. They might actually think to do that.
This week's comics were not easy to make. My life decided to imitate art and I ended up with a killer headache on the day I had set aside to work on this set. I hope that painful coincidence added more realism to the scenes.

Oh no :( I hope it's eased by now.
Thank you Kez. Yes, it's better. I spent the day trying different remedies, switched to a migraine relief medicine, and then a cup of peppermint tea finally lifted the rest of it away. It was a minor one for me, only about 12 hours or so. I've had worse!
Oh I'm so sorry about your headache! Those hurt so much. Hope you're feeling better now.
I think that your headache added to the painful expressions that you captured in your strip. I could almost feel your pain. Love, Mom
