As Coach D. said, it's also great for firestarting. If you have never tried this little experiment, get a 9 volt battery and rub it against a wad of lint. It's amazing how fast it sparks up. (Caution: this is an outdoor experiment. Lint does not smell pretty when it burns. And have a bucket of water ready.)

I feel guilty every time I throw away the dryer lint. I knew it could be used for something! Now where to store it?
