Yep. This has happened. In fact, I think it has happened more than once. If an anole starts eyeing you, it is usually getting ready to jump. Sierra has owned at least two anoles that didn't mind sitting on her hand. During the storm, she spent a lot of time holding her smaller current anole, Jupiter, to keep her warm. (Yes, Jupiter is a female.) The other, Apollo, doesn't like being held unless he sees you handling the cricket jar, but he's so big he dealt with the power outage just fine. They have both recovered well from the storm.
