Home Spun comic strip #287

Home Spun comic strip #287

Every year, I teach my children about the responsibility of every American citizen by fitting all of us inside the voting booth to vote. This worked out pretty well while they were little. Now it feels like I'm stuffing clowns in a tiny car.

HAHA, very funny! I wish my parents had done that with our homeschool, what a great opportunity to learn. She did get us into being state capitol interns as teens though. That was a learning experience! I totally loved it and that is one of many I am very happy my parents did. You don't really get that stuff in a text book.

Hee hee....
We don't have "booths" here..we have tables with "privacy" dividers.

but my kids blow that all the time by announcing when we arrive who I'm or what I'm voting.

You're only about a day away now, aren't you? We'll be following your election with interest.
Blessings,
Paula
PS Thanks for your feedback on my last post. The way you described it is just how it feels.

Hahaha, I know all about that.

Well, not quite, as my children are older - one of them will be voting this year.

But I've certainly been in the situation of taking my children along while I vote and telling them firmly before we get there "Do NOT announce who I'm voting for!" =D =D

Hope you have fun tomorrow. Our whole family is going together to vote. Can't wait. =)
