I used this site for sugar skull instructions: http://www.mexicansugarskull.com/sugar_skulls/instructions.html I did have to adjust it slightly, adding more water about a tablespoon at a time until it was workable. I also don't have skull molds, so we just shaped them by hand and left them in the oven (turned off) overnight to dry (this works if you have a gas stove!) I also did not buy their "special" brands of meringue powder or concentrated food coloring pastes. I hope that helps you!
I was lucky enough to see these in person but the skulls weren't decorated yet. They are awesome! Did you all take part in the decorating? Love you, Mom

The sugar skulls are great. Also love little red's striped socks and how she tamed the wolf, they really make the costume.
We LOVE your sugar skulls!!! Did you find recipe online? I have seen a lot of recipes but yours rock!

Your sugar skulls RAWK!! Love the photos - did Marina not dress up?
Thank you!
Marina did not dress up. She did wear her Batgirl shirt, but she didn't go out. Too much work to do. My poor college girl!
