This one is for all the super dads out there. I hope they have a wonderful Father's Day.
Homeschooling is hard to do without support, so I want to acknowledge that it is hard to be super without help. Whether it comes from a spouse, another relative, or a good friend, our supporters are our greatest strength.
I will be taking a comic writing break for a couple of weeks. I will probably still be writing, but I've been a bit burnt out lately and have need of a recharge. There's also this book I've been meaning to attend to. It's not going to write itself!

This one was fun to draw, wasn't it? I tend to think of my husband as my "rescuer". Have a good, restful break, apart from daily life and working on your book (seriously, do try to rest, o.k.?!) Are you done with homeschooling for the year? I'm tempted to end when Chad is done with college (Tues.) but Todd will want us to go to the end of June, as usual. Think I need a break as well! Take care and enjoy - Kate
Enjoy your break and your writing project! :-)
Agreed! Often quiet and unassuming, homeschooling dads are awesome.
I hope you have a good break and plenty of creativity :)
Kate: Yes, this one was fun, although the second panel made me a bit crazy figuring out arm positions. We don't have a set date for stopping, but the quarterlies are due the end of next week, so I will be trying to accomplish that the beginning of the week.
Thank you, everyone, for you sweet comments!
This one is a gem! A wonderful tribute to your loving Homeschool Dad and support system. Love you both, Mom
Spot on! That's my job, defending my Super Homeschool Mum from the various minions of BusyBodies International. Another fine cartoon. Enjoy your break.
David: I'm glad you enjoyed it! Keep fighting the good fight for truth, justice, and the homeschooling way!
Hurrah!!!!!!
