I remember doing this when the kids were all under the age of 6 or so. Like I think I left Carmen in the carrier in the house, thinking I'd strapped her into the back seat, something like that. Those were the days. It's so nice not to need an extra set of clothes in the car at all times (my oldest had a knack for finding ways of getting dirty). I just spent a frantic/frenetic week of getting Chad started up with college again. I think the $$$ I shelled out were the hardest to swallow. Hope things are going well with Marina, as well as your younger two at home! Looks like a fun field trip you had (I showed the kids the frog and snake). Enjoy your week - Kate
I always love hearing from you Kate! We've been doing the run around for two (three?) weeks now. I'll have to write a post about it now that things have calmed down slightly. The field trip was fun, I wish I hadn't needed to leave early, but it is nice to know there were many willing to return my kids to me so they could stay for the whole day!

Even when I write things down, I forget something. Thanks for a chuckle to start my day. Love, Mom
