Home Spun comic strip #773
Let there be light!
It is 8:30pm on Thursday. We have not had power since 7:30pm Monday. Of course, my first thought was to send out a message letting all of my readers and virtual friends know we are all right. It was touch and go there for a while, but we did not lose any trees and the worst damage we had to our property was a few shingles off the roof. I am so thankful for all of your sweet thoughts and prayers, even though I could not see them until just now. I will write about our storm adventure tomorrow, but I figured you might want to see the comic strip that was waiting to be posted!

Been thinking about you - glad you are okay :)
SO great to hear you are all fine! We are very thankful that God kept you safe. We've been checking daily and when I saw your post, I let out a yell that brought everyone to the computer. I'm so glad your damage was minimal; it must have been so unsettling though and scary (we remember all too well the huge storm we had back in 2007). Take care and welcome back!
God bless - Kate
I'm so pleased to hear from you. It sounded really scary. I like this comic strip too. I can imagine all the toothpaste spatters hitting the mirror.
WOOT!!! WOOT!!! SO GLAD YOU ARE BACK!!!
And safe!!!
(((((HUGS)))))
So pleased to hear all is well with you!
I do some of my best thinking brushing my teeth. Your friends virtual messages of concern are beautiful. Love always, Mom
