Home Spun comic strip #812
It is amazing how quickly the years go by. I went from complete fear about following the state homeschooling regulations to reporting two, then three children, and now I am back to reporting only one. Time goes quickly. Even if it seems like the paperwork will never end, it does. Suddenly you have a twenty year old and you cherish each remaining moment watching her cuddle with her younger siblings on the couch, discussing important matters of Dungeons and Dragons. (I'll post some of the photos from that night tomorrow.) It is hard to see life pass when you are living it, but it does. A chapter ends, a new one begins.

Wahhhh...I know! I start the last four years with Elijah this next year. I want to keep him forever!
I couldn't help thinking how much fun it would be to write this year's quarterly report for Marina. Love, Mom
I'm in the same boat - not that I have to report much; just the number of days we homeschooled and what subjects we teach - and I must admit I'm kind of enjoying it. I find I'm so much more relaxed having just one school-aged child. He's eight though, so I have a few years to go. =)
